Why was the bug not fixed yet?
We understand that encountering bugs and issues while using Struckd can be really frustrating, which is why we do our best to fix any potential issues as fast as we can, as we take any bug reports with utmost seriousness. However, some issues may take a bit longer to be fixed, and this could be related to several reasons, but before we jump into that, we would like to share a bit about the process:
- When you report a bug, we first need to analyze if that's in fact an issue or just the intended behavior.
- In case it's not clear, we need to ask additional questions to the reporter. It may happen that we also need more details on how to reproduce the issue, what app version is affected, what device was being used and so on.
- Once we confirm it's a valid report, our support team will conduct an investigation to determine the main cause of the problem.
- Then we'll forward the case and all the details to our QA and Developing teams, so that they can perform further tests and find a proper solution to the issue.
Please note that this process may take some time depending on how complex the issue is. In addition to that, we need to ensure that the solution we provide will address the problem effectively, without causing any further issues to the app.
But how about the issue I've reported a while ago?
Please keep in mind that fixing a bug may also require a significant amount of time. Some bugs may require extensive changes to Struckd's code, and implementing these changes may need further testing before it can be pushed to the app. On top of that, we always consider the possibility that a fix may cause other issues to pop up, and that's the reason why we need to be extra careful when implementing solutions to reported bugs, to prevent any side-effects that may result in more problems.
Indeed, there are times when we cannot find the source of problem, which makes it even more challenging to fix a certain issue. In these specific cases, we have to rely on the community feedback and reports, which may take even longer to collect, analyze, and determine a proper solution.
Anyhow, we want to assure you that we will continue to do our best to fix any bugs you might report, therefore, we ask you for your patience and comprehension when encountering these issues.
