In case you're playing a horror or nocturnal game, it might happen that you have some issues seeing what's in front of your character. There's no reason to panic, as long as you have flashlights with you.
Adding a flashlight to the game
If you're creating a horror/nocturnal game, make sure to always add the asset "military flashlight". To do so:
- In your draft, click on the "plus" sign at the bottom right corner to add assets to your draft.
- Search for a character that has the option to carry flashlights, for example, Teen Boy (please note that not all characters can carry flashlights).
- Now search for the asset "military flashlight" and make sure to add this to your game as well. It's a pick-up item, so place it somewhere the players can find it.
It's also advised to change the character's camera to a first-person view (character settings), especially in dark games where the flashlight is a crucial item.
Using the flashlight
We are lucky that these flashlights have fully charged batteries!
Now that you found a flashlight in the game, you need to turn it on. All you have to do is to hit the "crosshair" button!
It may happen that you encounter some games that are way too dark, and that's related to the map settings. If that's the case, for a better experience we also recommend adjusting the brightness through the settings of your device.
