Can I play with my friends? – Struckd 3D Game Creator

The short answer is "yes!", you can play any games with your friends. However, there are some requirements that need to be met to play together, so in this article, we'll be showing you all of those requirements.

1. Game type

First and foremost, the basic requirement to play with a friend, is that the game you're playing is multiplayer. In other words, the game needs to have a minimum of 2 playable characters, otherwise, it's a single-player game.

Currently, there's no way to see if a game is multiplayer or not, so you need to play and check if there's a character selection screen. If you can select more than 1 playable character, that means you found a game you can play with your friend(s). To make things easier, you can optionally play the games under our "Multiplayer" category:

If you want to create your own multiplayer game, make sure to add at least 2 playable characters. To make a character playable, all you need to do is to select the character and hit the controller button. It will turn green, which means these characters can now be controlled in your game.

2. Server

Now that you found a cool game to play with your friend(s), you need to make sure you're both on the same server. So here's what you need to do:

1. Choose a game and send the link to this game to your friend. To do so, click on "Share".

2. Next, click on "Servers", then "Create a new server".

3. Wait for your game to load the game, and ask your friend to join the same server as you. Once you create the server, your friend should be able to see it:

Please note:

If it says "Player's Server", that means you're using an anonymous account (otherwise it would show your username). So if there are multiple servers created, it might be hard for your friend to find the right server.
If they cannot see the server, that means you are not playing in the same region as your friend.

3. Region

You have done the first two steps, but for some reason, you're still unable to play with your friend. That means each one of you is playing from a different region.

Your region in Struckd is chosen based on your store settings (play store or app store).
In other words, if you download Struckd from a European store and your friend downloads it from an American store, you won't be able to play together.
- In order to solve this problem, one needs to change the region of their store and download Struckd again.

Before you change anything: Please, keep in mind that if you have an anonymous account and uninstall Struckd, you won't be able to access your previous anonymous account again. That means you'll start over with a new account!

So we only recommend reinstalling Struckd in case you don't have any games created OR in case you have a registered account where you can go back to.
